About Highland Park

Highland Park is one of LA's oldest neighborhoods, threaded by the Arroyo Seco and dotted with free parks, playgrounds and the beloved Chicken Boy statue on Figueroa. Hermon Park and the Arroyo Seco greenway give it long stretches of free open space.

Its York Boulevard and Figueroa Street corridors are walkable and creative, backed by free community gardens, a recreation center and the Arroyo Seco library branch.
