About Chinatown
LA's Chinatown is built for free wandering: the ornate Central Plaza, the East and West Gates, the Sun Yat-sen and Bruce Lee statues, and a wealth of public art and historic landmarks. The huge Los Angeles State Historic Park sits just across the tracks.
It's one of the most history-dense neighborhoods in the city, with free murals, plazas and monuments packed into a few very walkable blocks near Downtown.
